Getting out of the Deliverables Business

As a designer working in an Agile culture, I have embraced Lean UX principles. Chief among them is to get out of the deliverables business. That means fewer pretty deliverables I can put on my portfolio site. More design is taking place in collaborative conversations. Often the only documentation is the photos a team member took of the whiteboard. That's a good thing.

Sometimes whiteboarding is about sketching, sometimes it's more about text. Either way there's nothing like a really big, shiny whiteboard to get the ideas and conversation flowing. Here's an unusually tidy sketch of a landing page.

Comparing Textfield Designs

I created this Google spreadsheet so the team could compare textfield behavior and visual design across a variety of platforms.
